Finalmente, como escolher peri\u00f3dicos adequados e public\u00e1-los com sucesso. Finalmente, apresentaremos sugest\u00f5es para a otimiza\u00e7\u00e3o destas importantes atividades.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prof. Hayden Taylor<\/strong> (Design for Emerging and Nanoscale Manufacturing at University of California, Berkeley.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">\u2022<\/span> Cient\u00edfica: 27\/09\/2021 \u00e0s 14 horas<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">\u2022<\/span> Title: <em>Recent advances in additive manufacturing: the roles of volume-at-once techniques and photopolymers<br \/>\n<\/em>Abstract: Additive manufacturing (AM) is transforming when, how, and by\u00a0 whom objects are produced. An important class of AM processes relies on the\u00a0 light-activated transformation of materials, which can be considerably\u00a0 faster than thermoplastic powder- or extrusion-based methods, and results in highly heat-resistant products. Conventional light-based AM is significantly limited, however, by the layer-by-layer way in which it deposits materials. This approach still constrains printing speed, and can result in a rough, laminar surface finish. We therefore devised Computed Axial Lithography (CAL), a radically different approach to light-based AM, which creates all points in a 3D geometry simultaneously instead of building it up layer by layer. Light-sensitive material in a rotating container is exposed to a pattern of light projected perpendicularly to the rotation axis. The projected pattern is synchronized with the rotation, so that the cumulative dose of light can be controlled in 3D. Where the dose exceeds a threshold value, the material is transformed to a solid and the desired geometry forms. CAL is inspired by computed tomography, the widespread medical and industrial imaging technique.
