De 29 de junho a 3 de agosto, a Escola de Engenharia de S\u00e3o Carlos da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (EESC-USP) sediar\u00e1 um bootcamp internacional de engenharia<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A programa\u00e7\u00e3o coincide com o ver\u00e3o europeu e as f\u00e9rias de inverno brasileiras.<\/p>\n

Esse evento reunir\u00e1 jovens engenheiros de todo o mundo. Dez estudantes do Instituto Real de Tecnologia (KTH) na Su\u00e9cia e da EESC USP no Brasil, juntamente com dois estudantes convidados da Texas A&M nos EUA, colaborar\u00e3o em um projeto de ponta.<\/p>\n

O desafio deles: projetar, construir, montar e integrar uma pequena aeronave aut\u00f4noma. Este projeto inclui a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de um controlador de voo, a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de testes e a an\u00e1lise dos resultados, culminando na emocionante experi\u00eancia de voar sua cria\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Os participantes explorar\u00e3o t\u00f3picos cr\u00edticos como design de aeronaves, aerodin\u00e2mica, desempenho, sistemas de voo aut\u00f4nomo e testes de voo.<\/p>\n

O programa \u00e9 estruturado com aulas te\u00f3ricas pela manh\u00e3 e pr\u00e1tica aplicada \u00e0 tarde. Al\u00e9m disso, os estudantes visitar\u00e3o instala\u00e7\u00f5es da ind\u00fastria aeron\u00e1utica, como Embraer, Latam e X Mobots durante o bootcamp, proporcionando-lhes uma oportunidade \u00fanica de ver opera\u00e7\u00f5es de ponta da ind\u00fastria em primeira m\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

O bootcamp \u00e9 organizado pelos professores Glauco Caurin, da EESC-USP, e Raffaello Mariani, do KTH Su\u00e9cia, com apoio pelo CISB (Centro Sueco-Brasileiro de Pesquisa e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o) e FAFQ (Funda\u00e7\u00e3o de Apoio \u00e0 F\u00edsica e \u00e0 Qu\u00edmica).\u00a0<\/p>\n

O evento \u00e9 patrocinado pelas empresas l\u00edderes Toradex, Treffer e o Swedish Aerospace Research Center (SARC), cujas contribui\u00e7\u00f5es foram fundamentais para tornar esta iniciativa poss\u00edvel. Ele destaca o compromisso das universidades e dos parceiros da ind\u00fastria em proporcionar aos estudantes oportunidades inigual\u00e1veis de crescimento e aprendizado. \u00c0 medida que esses jovens engenheiros colaboram e inovam, eles n\u00e3o est\u00e3o apenas construindo uma aeronave, mas tamb\u00e9m forjando o futuro da tecnologia aeron\u00e1utica.<\/p>\n

June 29th to August 3rd, the University of S\u00e3o Paulo in S\u00e3o Carlos (EESC USP) will host an international engineering bootcamp.<\/p>\n

The schedule coincides with the European summer and Brazilian winter vacation. This event will bring together young engineers around the world. Ten students the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden and EESC USP in Brazil, along with two invited students Texas A&M in the USA, will collaborate on a cutting-edge project. Their challenge: to design, construct, assemble, and integrate a small autonomous aircraft.<\/p>\n

This project includes implementing a flight controller, conducting testing, and analyzing the results, culminating in the exciting experience of flying their creation. Participants will explore critical topics such as aircraft design, aerodynamics, performance, autonomous flight systems, and flight testing.<\/p>\n

The program is structured with theoretical lessons in the mornings and hands-on practice in the afternoons. Additionally, students will visit aeronautical industry facilities such as EMBRAER, LATAM, and XMOBOTS during the bootcamp, providing them with a unique opportunity to see cutting-edge industry operations firsthand. The bootcamp is organized by Prof. Glauco Caurin EESC USP and Prof. Raffaello Mariani KTH Sweden, and is supported by CISB (Centro Sueco-Brasileiro de Pesquisa e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o) and FAFQ (Funda\u00e7\u00e3o de Apoio a F\u00edsica e a Qu\u00edmica).<\/p>\n
