No dia 29 de abril, foi realizado um semin\u00e1rio sobre pesquisas e avan\u00e7os cient\u00edficos na \u00e1rea de Sociohidrologia e Recursos H\u00eddricos no anfiteatro do Departamento de Hidr\u00e1ulica e Saneamento (SHS-EESC-USP).<\/p>\n

As palestras se inserem no contexto de colabora\u00e7\u00e3o em pesquisa entre o Programa de P\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Engenharia Hidr\u00e1ulica e Saneamento (PPGSHS), o Programa de P\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Tecnologia (PPGT) da Faculdade de Tecnologia da Unicamp, (FT-Unicamp), a Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Pa\u00edses Baixos, e a C\u00e1tedra UNESCO de \u00c1guas Urbanas.<\/p>\n

A coopera\u00e7\u00e3o conta com apoio da Fapesp (Tem\u00e1tico 2023\/18011-0) e CNPq (Universal 403292\/2023-9).<\/p>\n

\"\"Saket Pande (B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, 2000; Ph.D. in Civil and Environment Engineering, Utah State University, 2005) is a hydrologist and a water economist. He has advanced education in both Hydrology and Economics, and has expertise in the fundamentals of Hydrology, Applied Statistics, Economic Theory, and their intersections in real-world applications.
\nIn recent years Saket has been extensively researching on how fundamentals of applied probability can explain the issues underlying calibration uncertainty in water systems, especially in basin scale hydrology. Using his training in economics, Saket has also researched into temporal dynamics of individual decision-making as well as into the fundamentals of welfare economics.<\/p>\n
