Trindade, do Departamento de Engenharia Mec\u00e2nica.<\/p>\n<p>Dentre as atividades previstas, o Prof. Alam ministrar\u00e1 uma palestra aberta a todos os interessados a ser realizada no dia 28 de agosto, \u00e0s 14 horas, no anfiteatro do LAMAFE. O p\u00fablico-alvo inclui docentes, pesquisadores e alunos de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o e p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o. Na palestra, o Prof. Alam falar\u00e1 sobre suas experi\u00eancias em ci\u00eancias e engenharia que o levaram a apreciar as converg\u00eancias de projeto entre a natureza e a engenharia. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology, a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, Chair of the Natural Materials Group: a Technical Community of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, and an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Biology at Universitas Gadja Mada, Indonesia.
