In order to support one of our key mega tech clients we are looking for a highly motivated detailed oriented Electrical Estimator\u00a0<\/p>\n


\n<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Primary Purpose:<\/p>\n


\n<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u2022 Electrical Estimators have the responsibility of evaluating the cost of electrical proposals and installations for a key client.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2022 Calculate the projected costs involved in electrical projects.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u2022 Validate invoices to be paid<\/p>\n


\n<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0Essential Duties and Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n


\n<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Maintain project budgets and maintain systems of checks and balances to manage project to achieve success.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u2022 Assist General Manager in negotiating project bids and estimate project costs.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u2022 Assist General Manager in negotiating materials and equipment purchases.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u2022 Maintain high quality of deliverables and client expectations.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2022 Track project changes and report any required changes to monthly billings to General Manager.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2022 Project, project labor and material needs and coordinate schedules<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u2022 Verify accuracy of labor and material estimates\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2022 Resolve design issues and questions by involving appropriate personnel. Push for resolutions to keep the project moving.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u2022 Review project contracts and ensure that liens and intents are in place.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Manage, prepare, administer, and direct the control of the budget for large, complex programs.<\/p>\n


\n<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Other duties may be assigned such as:\u00a0<\/p>\n


\n<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Plan or schedule electrical projects<\/p>\n

\u2022 Estimate new construction\/retrofit projects\u00a0<\/p>\n


\n<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Minimum Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n


\n<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u2022 Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience in electrical systems installation, design and project estimating.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2022 Minimum 2 years of Construction estimating<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u2022 Must have proven ability to manage people and clients and manage projects for a successful outcome and achieve project goals.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2022 Must be able to cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and\/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2022 5+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field.\u00a0<\/p>\n


\n<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

From 0 to 10, how fluent is your english in terms of speaking and writing How many years of electrical systems installation, design and project estimating do you have? How many years of construction estimating do you have?
