GRADUATE PROGRAM
TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING
The Graduate Program in Transportation Engineering (PPG-ET) offers Master's and Doctoral degrees. It is based in the Department of Transportation Engineering (STT) at the São Carlos School of Engineering (EESC) of the University of São Paulo (USP). The program is the oldest in the field of transportation engineering in Brazil, beginning with the Master's course in 1973 under what was then called the Department of Transportation and Topography at the São Carlos School of Engineering.
The Master's and Doctoral programs are designed for professionals with backgrounds in civil engineering and related fields and focus on three major research areas: Transportation Infrastructure - Geomatics, Transportation Infrastructure - Pavements and Transportation Systems Planning and Operation.
